Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-03

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Traveldi website at traveldi-app.com (the "Website"), including the pre-launch waitlist, and, from its launch, the Traveldi mobile application (the "App"). Part A applies to the Website and waitlist, Part B to the App, and Part C to both.

§ 1. Provider

The Website and the App are provided by TRAVELDI sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Galenowa 1/55, 25-705 Kielce, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the Polish National Court Register (KRS) under no. 0001256690, NIP (tax ID): 9592095274, REGON: 545336229 (the "Provider", "we"). Contact: info@traveldi-app.com.

Part A: Website and waitlist

§ 2. The waitlist

  1. Joining the waitlist is free and voluntary. It requires providing a valid e-mail address and consenting to receive launch-related communications; name, country and destination are optional.
  2. Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not guarantee access to the App at launch. It creates no obligation on either side beyond the communications you signed up for.
  3. Waitlist perks announced on the Website (e.g. launch badge, profile frame, a free Pro period) will be honoured for e-mail addresses registered before the App's launch date, subject to creating an App account with the same e-mail address. Perks have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  4. We may change the launch date, availability, features or perks. Material changes will be announced on the Website.
  5. You can leave the waitlist at any time via the unsubscribe link in any of our e-mails or by writing to privacy@traveldi-app.com.

§ 3. Acceptable use of the Website

  1. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Website lawfully.
  2. You must not: submit other people's e-mail addresses without their consent, use automated tools to flood the waitlist, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the database, disrupt the Website's operation, or reverse-engineer non-public parts of the service.

Part B: The Traveldi App (from launch)

From the App's launch, use of the App is governed by the provisions below together with Parts A (where applicable) and C. The authoritative in-App version of these provisions is presented and accepted during account creation.

§ 4. General provisions

  1. The App serves to meet fellow travelers ("Travel Buddies"), plan joint trips, chat and collect visited countries.
  2. Using the App requires accepting these Terms and reading the Privacy Policy.
  3. The service agreement is concluded upon account creation, for an indefinite period.
  4. The App's core features are free of charge.

§ 5. Technical requirements

  1. Using the App requires an iOS device running a supported system version and Internet access.
  2. Some features (unlocking countries, challenges, the buddies map) require location permission; publishing photos requires camera or gallery access. Permissions are voluntary and can be withdrawn in system settings.

§ 6. Account

  1. The App may only be used by persons who are at least 18 years old.
  2. Users must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Impersonating others is prohibited.
  3. Each user may hold only one account. Accounts are non-transferable.
  4. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

§ 7. User-generated content (UGC)

  1. There is zero tolerance for content that is offensive, illegal, harassing, discriminatory, inciting violence or pornographic, and for abusive behaviour towards other users.
  2. In particular, it is forbidden to publish: content infringing third-party rights (including copyright and likeness), spam and advertising, sexual content involving minors (reported to law enforcement), other people's contact or personal details without their consent, and content promoting self-harm or drugs.
  3. By publishing content, the user grants the Provider a free, non-exclusive licence to store, display and share it with other users solely to the extent necessary for the App to function. The licence expires when the content or the account is deleted.
  4. The user declares that they hold the rights to the published content.

§ 8. Moderation, reports and appeals

  1. The App provides mechanisms for reporting content and users and for blocking users (available in chat, on profiles and on stories).
  2. Reports are reviewed promptly, no later than within 24 hours. Content violating these Terms is removed and offenders' accounts may be suspended or deleted.
  3. Content may also be filtered automatically (including a profanity filter). Decisions to remove content or block an account are not made solely by automated means in a way that produces legal effects.
  4. Users are informed of content removal or account blocking together with the reason. A decision may be appealed within 14 days by writing to info@traveldi-app.com. Appeals are reviewed by a human.

§ 9. Points

  1. Points are used, among other things, to create trips, send join requests and message without a match. Points can be earned through activity, claimed weekly for free, or purchased.
  2. Points are not legal tender, cannot be exchanged for money, bear no interest and have no value outside the App.
  3. Points unused at the time of account deletion are forfeited. Points spent on creating a trip are not refunded when the trip is deleted (the user confirms this before deleting).

§ 10. Purchases and the Pro subscription

  1. In-app purchases (Point packs, the Pro subscription) are processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase, under App Store rules.
  2. The Pro subscription renews automatically for consecutive periods unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple account settings.
  3. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and include taxes.
  4. Right of withdrawal: by purchasing digital content (Points, Pro) the consumer consents to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledges losing the 14-day right of withdrawal. Refunds, if any, are handled under Apple's refund policy (reportaproblem.apple.com).

§ 11. Meeting safety and liability

  1. The App enables contact between users. In-person meetings take place at the users' own risk. We recommend: meeting first in public places, telling someone you trust about your plans, and never sharing documents or financial details.
  2. The Provider is not a party to relationships between users, does not verify their identity and is not responsible for meetings outside the App.
  3. The Provider strives to keep the App running without interruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Towards non-consumer users the Provider's liability is limited to wilful misconduct. These limitations do not affect mandatory consumer rights.

Part C: Common provisions

§ 12. Intellectual property

The Website, the App, the Traveldi logo, graphics and code are protected by law. The user receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Website and the App for personal purposes, in line with their intended use.

§ 13. Complaints and disputes

  1. Complaints about the Website or the App may be submitted to info@traveldi-app.com. We respond within 14 days.
  2. Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

§ 14. Termination

  1. You may leave the waitlist at any time (§ 2(5)); from launch, you may delete your App account at any time, without giving a reason, in the App (Profile → Settings → "Delete account"); this terminates the agreement.
  2. The Provider may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms, after informing the user and stating the reason (§ 8(4)).

§ 15. Changes to the Terms

  1. The Provider may amend these Terms for valid reasons (changes in law, new features, safety). Changes concerning the App are announced in the App at least 14 days before they take effect; changes concerning the Website are published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
  2. A user who does not accept the changes may stop using the Website, leave the waitlist or delete their account before the changes take effect.

§ 16. Final provisions

  1. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
  2. If any provision of these Terms proves invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
